The main activities of the
Chamber of Agriculture of Budapest are:

1) Official tasks
- Qualification of the vocational training places, and verification in pursuance of the vocational training law
- Depute members to the examination delegation
- Supervision of student contracts
- Master's qualification, examination of masters
Master's qualification in 20 trade (Silver spike course for farmers, green booklet course, pest control course, mushroom growing course, herb course, master of flower binding)

2) Services of computer science
- The run of a local, interactive homepage, which main elements are: business offers, market information commentaries, foreign cooperation offers, exhibitions and fairs, EU- related regulators, contract models, on-line advertising pad, law related guidance.
- According to the new chamber's law, we ensure facility for publishing advertisements and placing demand-supply pieces of information on our new Agrarian Stock Exchange web-page as a new service of ours.

3) Marketing work
- Organization of business meetings inland and abroad
- Trade innovation, expansion of available markets, furtherance of interrelationship among contractors, change of information, exploration of market facilities, changing brochures, ensure of issues and displays
- Participation in exhibitions and fairs
- Propagation of our members' activities, contribution in preparing, issuing of activity displaying brochures, issues, propaganda-materials, sometimes in obtaining needed resources for this by winning a competition
- Setting up vocational travels -inland and abroad

4) Helping enterprises to get resources
- Monitoring of the agriculture related competitions, support opportunities and consultancy
- Competition information, monitoring
- Co-operation with creditor institutes

5) Chamber encouragement for enterprises to promote their interests (either personal, or departmental aspects)
- Participation in departmental, regional symposium and in governmental and international programs (FVM, AMC, PHARE, SAPARD, etc.)
- Making proposals for law changes, offering opinions about laws
- Taking efficient part in law regulation on capital and national level as well, which related to our members
- Assurance of constitutional framework in interest assertion by department and functions

6) Organization of programs, education, orientation
- Organization and transaction of vocational presentations, conferences
- Aiding the preparation of the joining to the EU
- Technical expertise
- Consultancy, consultation about tax, law, social security, duty

7) PR function
- Regular delivery of current pieces of information, economic news for the members of the chamber
- Publishing advertisements
- Presence on internet
- Furtherance of our members' appearance in media

8) International relations
- We get in touch with foreigner chamber, and maintain continuous relations with them
- Arrangement and transaction of the heads of foreigner chamber' programs in Hungary
